We regret to inform you that Hygiea Medical Clinic will be closing its doors in the near future. We understand this news may come as a disappointment to you, as it certainly is for us. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are faced with this difficult decision.

While we are saddened by the closure of Hygiea Medical Clinic, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving you at another location. Drs. Tupper, Venter, Warner, and Wiessenberg will be joining a new clinic, Spring Creek Medical Centre, which is situated at 112, 205 Spring Creek Common SW, Calgary, AB T3H 6H4. Our plan is to join the new clinic on May 1st, 2024. Spring Creek Medical Centre is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Hygiea, across from Aspen Shopping Center.

We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all our patients. Your medical records will be transferred to the new clinic along with your physician to ensure continuity of care.There will be no cost to you for the transfer.

Unfortunately, financial constraints stemming from the chronic and severe underfunding of family medicine, coupled with ongoing crises within the field, have made it impossible for us to renew the lease for Hygiea Medical Clinic. Despite our best efforts to navigate these challenges, we have reached a point where continuing operations at this location is no longer feasible.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your loyalty and trust over the past decade. It has been our privilege to provide you with high-quality longitudinal family medicine care. Your health and well-being have always been our top priority, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of your healthcare journey.

Once again, we extend our sincerest gratitude for allowing us to serve you at Hygiea Medical Clinic. While this chapter may be coming to a close, we remain committed to supporting your health and well-being in any way we can. If you are no longer a part of Hygiea Medical Clinic or do not wish to move to the new clinic, please contact us at the following email: reception@calgaryfamilymd.com to update our records or convey your intentions. Please refrain from calling, as we are unable to answer phone calls at this time.

Please note that we will continue to book as usual beyond May and the bookings will be transferred to Spring Creek Medical Centre on 1 May 2024.
